An individual who contracts with the University Health Center and Maryland Athletics on a part-time basis has tested positive for COVID-19. The University immediately began notifying the individuals who we know came into direct contact with the individual and provided CDC guidance. A University of Maryland student participating in the Education Abroad program in Barcelona, Spain, has tested positive for COVID-19. This student did not return to College Park upon their arrival back to the U.S. and is currently self- isolating at their home, outside of the state of Maryland.
